The Media Action Group for Mental Health, (MAGMH), established in 2000, is a Registered Charity that aims to eradicate the stigma of mental ill-health. By working in creative ways and utilising all media available we promote positive, accurate and realistic images of people who live with mental distress. We believe that through education and by empowering people to challenge society's misconceptions we can dismantle the barriers of prejudice and move towards mental and emotional well-being.

| We
carry out a range of innovative projects and services that enable people
to change public opinion by sharing their own experiences of living with
mental ill health. Although this may initially seem like a daunting
prospect, Many people who have spoken to the media have found it to be
an empowering experience.
